We booked this rental for a family Christmas for 9 adults and 6 kids and the place was the perfect size and spot for us! The home sits in a beautiful location on a lake. The interior of the home was very spacious and well kept. We did have a couple issues with the property management company. The property management company required us to allow a host into the home each day to "check it out" and to see if we needed anything. We found this intrusive and unnecessary. We also had to pay an additional $1000 outside of the airbnb app as a refundable deposit which we found strange and frankly alarming. We have not gotten this back yet. We felt as if this should have been charged up front and through the app. We were given false information about the pool (were told it was available for use - it was covered and winterized even though the app and management indicated 24/7 availability). We also had to sign and fill out a lengthy contract prior to our stay which was cumbersome.

We hosted thanksgiving at the house and had a wonderful time. Large space with multiple living areas was great for hosting a few families. Location is fantastic, easy walk to shops and restaurants at 12 South. Across the street from a park with playground, tennis courts etc.

Beautiful home with wonderful long range views. Everything was set up well and our host was quick to offer to take care of any additional needs we had. They also provided some pool rafts and pool towels which was very helpful. I had three children and four young grandchildren for a long weekend, the house was perfect for us.

My group had a wonderful time at the Lakeview property. The house is stunningly beautiful and extremely well kept. The kitchen is very large and a delight to cook in. The bedrooms are very spacious. The view from the pool area is simply stunning. The pool was refreshing under the warm Austin sun, and the hot tub was relaxing in the evening. The short walk down to the dock/lake was quite fun. 10 out of 10. We’ll look to book this location upon our next visit to Austin. Cannot more strongly recommend.
