I was very much looking forward to meeting Meir and staying at his lovely apartment, but was unfortunately stopped by the Israel-Hamas war. Unfortunately I also lost the entire amount of the money I paid for the accommodation - nearly $2,000!!! If I had thought there would be a risk of such an event taking place I would never have booked accommodation with a no-refund policy, and therefore will take much more care in the future. Nevertheless, I hope I will get the chance to stay at Meir’s apartment another time, but will chance leaving the booking until I arrive in Israel. I can’t afford to chance losing so much money ever again. I feel no ill will toward Meir (he seems a lovely man), but I seriously question AirBnB’s policies and ethics, in enabling this to happen. I suspect they care very little about the misfortune of their customers.

Great place. Nice and quiet because it's at the back of the building but right on a pedestrian street (closed to cars) near the carmel market and with 2 very popluar restarurant and wine bar next door.

L’appartement au RDC est vraiment impressionnant grâce à la hauteur sous plafond.
La terrasse est grande et bien équipée.
Meir nous a apporté une bouteille de vin, ce qui est très gentil.
Cependant, le quartier est sans intérêt, à 15 minutes de marche du Jaffa festif.
L’appartement aurait pu être davantage propre.
La Clim de la chambre du haut n’est pas fonctionnelle : réglée à 17 degrés il faisait quand même très chaud.
La cuisine est très grande mais ne permet pas vraiment de cuisiner car il y’a très peu d’équipements, ce qui est dommage.
