It's a budget studio apartment with a bunk bed in the corridor and a pull down bed in the room, so don't expect much more than the basics. With that in mind it has all the cooking essentials, warm and plenty of hot water. Great views from the balcony and a lovely sun trap. The pull down bed is easy to use and comfortable. Idea for a budget conscious couple. Would say a squeeze due to limited relaxed seating for a young family of 4. Worked for us as kids relaxed on the bunk beds. First bus outside the apartment block doesn't go until 08:50 so not best for getting first lifts or bus to the other end of the valley to access Avoriaz, first lifts require an easy walk downhill to the Chalet Super Gondola or town centre. Its a steep walk back from the centre. Bus route 5 from the centre can be used back home if timing works. Chalet is a great resort, not best for Boarders who don't get on with button lifts, but has speedy access to Port du Soleil via the No 1 bus to the Pierre Longue chair
