Since I’ve noticed reviews on here appear to be for different properties, this review is for the house with the pinball machine. The house is roomy and as described. We have been renting it for years and enjoy using the pool/ping pong table and are glad the pin ball machine works again. The jukebox that you see in the pictures doesn’t work. It worked years ago when we first rented this home. The location is great and is a short walk from restaurants, the lake, and the grocery store. It has a huge deck with a grill, fire pit, heater, and television. We go in the winter, so didn’t take advantage of all that was outside. In the summer, I’m sure it’s amazing! One caution; the heater in the room with the bunk beds doesn’t work, so if you close the door, it gets super cold. What worked for us was leaving the door open so the heat from the hallway could make its way to the room. I’m sure this is an easy fix and the owners may not even be aware of this. The kitchen has all you need.I recommend!

Great location with plenty to do inside and outside. Walking distance from Pines Village! Would definitely recommend for a family with kids or teens.

The place is beautiful matches pictures exactly. Our check in went well. Everything was in order when we arrived. Our only complaint was that the propane tank was empty the night we got in and the entire family froze all night with inside temperatures dropping to 58 degrees. We couldn’t make breakfast due to no propane. They did get propane company asap. But not being able to make food for entire family until 12:30 pm was not very good. We were a little disappointed that we were not allowed to use the pool table and the advertised ping pong table had no equipment to even use it. Ad picture a fire pit but there was not one around. Our experience was great and the house was very comfortable. But I would most likely give another cabin a chance next year as our experience with something that should not have happened ( no propane ) in the first place. It’s like renting a car and it being out of gas the moment you pick it up.
Looking past those issues I was happy with our stay.
★★★★★
We were fortunate enough to have spent time in this beautiful cabin. The cabin is really spacious and roomy.
everything looks and feel new . The office people are very prompt to listen to any concern and enthusiastic to resolve your issues.
We recommend to be prepared to encounter bears.
The only concern I have is the showers aren't accessible for those with disabilities or elderly.
Over all it is a beautiful place and if you are seeking for a cozy cabin this is the one for you.

The home was just as pictured. It was spacious and fit everyone comfortably. The hosts kindly left a welcome cake that was tasty. The home is close to the lake there wasn’t close access to it as most of the area is residential but we walked up to the town and got access through the hotel. The heater worked upstairs but the downstairs didn’t really warm up. The bathrooms didn’t have soap or shower amenities so we had to drive to town to purchase some. One of the shower doors and one of the curtain rods in the living room were broken but appeared to be held together til you touch it. Some improvements can be made in the home and amenities but my family and I just wanted a space to be together for the weekend and it was a good stay overall.
