The cottage meets expectations based on pictures, however, the "100 steps" description is misleading. Guests should be aware that you must cross a street (which can get busy) to get to the beach. For the $766 in cleaning and service fees, this cottage is sparse in amenities - 2 rolls of toilet paper, the smallest roll of paper towels, 2 dishwasher tabs, not enough towels. We visited in January - the weather was a bit chilly and only thin coverlets on beds. We called and requested blankets and were informed there were none available, would be ordered and dropped off if they arrived. They didn't. While there are plenty of dishes/glasses - the cookware is barely there.
Location wise in terms of access to the beach (after crossing the street) as well as Publix and other shopping on the island is spectacular. This isn't a place to rent if a guest has mobility issues, or wants to cook and prepare meals at the house.

We had 8 people stay here over new years. It was the perfect location & had a bunch of beach chairs, towels, & toys ready for us to use. The heated pool was awesome. We had issues with the temperature one day & the owners were quick to respond & sent someone to look at it within the hour. Only downside was no measuring cups or things of that nature for cooking. Had to buy our own toiletries which typically come with airbnbs. And no extra blankets. regardless we made it work & would recommend.
