- She attempted to communicate in English. It was incomprehensible. When I sought clarification her response came a day later. I then enlisted help from airbnb... host wouldn' respond to Airbnb either.
- One point of confusion is that the house came with a maid. I never noticed this in the listing but found it odd since we were only staying for 1 night. Gettin this straightened out took a couple of anxious days between an unresponsive host and messages from her that only added to the confusion.
- Upon arriving, we were greeted with heavy construction noise from the adjacent house. We learned that the host owned this property as well yet made no mention of it. Fortunately, it only lasted a couple of hours.
- At around 630am while my elderly mother was in the kitchen, a man just let himself in the house startling my mother. Pool guy. No heads-up from host to anticipate this.
