Our unit on the second floor faced the street and on Friday and Saturday nights it was indeed very, very loud until the early hours. It rained the next two nights so we were able to sleep.
Parking on the street is impossible. And if you were to win the street space lottery, you still have to pay and move the car during certain hours. Two blocks away there is a security patrolled, 24 hour access public garage that is very reasonably priced. We spent under $100 for nearly 5 days; worth every penny.
The location is terrific for walking, shopping, dining, sight seeing. We would stay here again but request a unit on an upper floor, and preferably in the back of the building. (I would compromise on the alley view in exchange for a quieter night.)
For perspective, we are well-traveled, flexible seniors.
