Hosts were solicitous and welcoming - Sam called before check-in explaining that she’d prepared the cabin with additional heaters to help boost the underfloor heating during a cold snap and then helped setup the gas heater.
Some suggestions:
- repair potholes on road to the farm
- wooden pathway, the chips/mulch are a slippery, muddy mess
- add one/two more steps down into lounge, existing transition is too steep
- add handrailing to bedroom
- draught excluders for doorway to upper deck
- wooden stool in shower
- towel ring in downstairs powder room.
Would highly recommend!
Super clean and comfortable and very warm in winter months…very well equipped kitchen, lots of board games for children and jigs saws.
Surroundings just stunning !
We had a fantastic time and nothing to complain about.

Every detail was considered from a well equiped kitchen, comfortable beds and a couple of tea bags to get you settled.
Very clean and well presented property and exactly as described.
May return in the summer when it is (hopefully) drier, sunnier and warmer. The walks will be epic.
