There were a range of maintenance issues that we have raised directly with Bowan. Once rectified, this has the potential to be a very nice apartment.
The two greatest issues we had were with the very high cleaning fee (approx $185NZD), & the automated msgs. At this price, we expected the place to be spotless. It was far from, specifically dried food on cutlery, old food marks in cupboards, hair in the pantry and excessive dust. It became apparent the likely driver of this is the check out message requiring guests to do the majority of their own cleaning (with the exception of linen).
We also found mgs from Bowan to be curt and condescending. This included asking for private contact details outside the ABnB platform. When challenged, it was blamed on management software.
The driveway is very steep and wouldn't undertake without a 4WD.
