Great location in the centre of Ambleside. Can be a bit noisy late at night with a bar next door, and early morning with bin collections and deliveries. If this bothers you, bring ear plugs! Otherwise perfect for having fun in the Lakes.

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed and comfy beds. We did find the upstairs shower leaked and soaked the bathroom floor so that could do with looking at. Also usually when we go away we fill the dish washer before we leave and turn it on so everything is clean but needs emptying by the host/cleaners- here we couldn't do that as everything needed to be washed, dried and put away or else you...

We couldnt have asked for anything more for this trip. There were more amenities then even listed and the view is the best in Ambleside. Perfectly clean and very homey. We cant wait to stay again!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Beech Cottage. It’s a perfect location to explore the lakes and a beautiful place for our family. Brathay Cottages are extremely helpful and George was fantastic and helpful throughout. We would highly recommend a visit here and we will be back again soon!
