it's a great location as the ski school is just right behind, however it's not really a ski in /out as you can't possibly ski right up to your apartment. Couchevel 12 is on level 2, which was not indicated in the listing until we asked. That means, you need to be able to carry your heavy luggages up the stairs..
It has a perfect view of the mountain and a cosy place for family. We bought few items from the Grocer and cooked up meals in the kitchen. It's very well equipped with all pots, and sufficient cutleries. I went with my parents and kids, there are 2 families in total and the space is adequate for all of us. A warning in the usage of the machineries. We switched on the heaters, clothes dryer and dishwasher at the same time and it caused a power trip to the unit. The electrician came to check out the power outage and adjusted something but it still tripped the very evening. Just need to space out the usage.

Comfortable place for our family. kept us warm and toasty during the winter. Bathroom floors are heated! Short walk to ski school.
