Good place, exactly as advertised. Third floor walk-up. Eastern view of the ocean and sunrise is great. Southern light is nice. Very walkable. Beach and lake are basically right out the door, and lots of friendly restaurants are just a few blocks away. Definitely more of a busy, active, “people and things to do” beach than, say, Kure Beach to the south. Hosts were accommodating and helpful.

Great home but slow property management response, extra hoops with property manager not made clear at booking (3rd party contract), and lack of some basics that we had to buy (extra trash bag, kitchen soap & sponge).

There are some older homes on Topsail Island that feel their age, but not this one! 703 has been lovingly restored with new appliances, great shower pressure, and very comfy beds/furniture. It was the perfect getaway for our small family. Carolina Retreats was great, we will definitely be staying with them again!
