This place was chosen mostly because it was in the location I was looking for. I liked that it had 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The mattresses in the bedrooms were rigid, old-style, spring mattresses. A bit rough to sleep on. The linens were adequate but also a bit rough. The kitchen appliances were about as good as those I had when I got my first apartment in my early 20s. I didn’t expect Le Creuset, but really cheap pots and pans are actually hard to cook with. We did almost all our cooking at my daughter’s so it did not really matter. I realize this spot is more of a summer destination and the property looks like it is VERY nice in the summer, but the way the heat works makes the downstairs bedrooms cold when you close the doors and the upstairs 10-15 degrees hotter. To be fair it was super cold when we arrived and that is always challenging for home heating. This property is easy to find and is close to all the great stuff around Cooperstown.

Me and my group loved are stay it was really peaceful and quite with a great view to the lake. Julie the owner of the house answer my texts and problems right away which was a plus I had a problem with a window so it was freezing since it was open all night didn’t want to bother her at night so as soon as I got up in the morningI texted her with my problem and she send her cousin right away and took care of it which was awesome Julie and her cousin save the day since it was really cold and snowing. I would highly recommend and there’s also a lot of trails to do for nice hikes and scenic views also near some caves with nice scenic drives.
