And we built up our 10,000+ steps, so we walked to Notre Dame to admire the restoration (remarkable) and along the river to find places to eat (never a shortage). Some good restaurants quite near the apt too.
The apt was clean and airy - and the bedrooms were comfortable and dark for sleeping. All mod con, as the Brits say - dishwasher, washing machine, TV, internet -
When we had questions, the folks were super speedy at responding.
The instructions were clear - one needs them ahead of time, or some way to remember the four door codes to get from the street to the apt.
Warning: coming in through the street door, put the light on before you make a move - tripping hazard. Nobody's fault.
Things to consider - this spot is 71 steps up, so be prepared for a trek with your baggage and a nice walk up after a night out.
Also, the floor tiles are rustic and some are wobbly as is the floor, traditionally Parisian so not very straight.
Half the home has a beautiful view of the cathedral, so one bedroom does hear the clock tower go off throughout the day - it doesn’t start until 8am so it’s quiet all night.
Overall such an amazing stay - perfect location to many amazing spots to eat, close enough to tourist spots but also a quiet retreat.
