Beautiful well presented cottage, perfect location so close to lovely restaurants, The Mallard Hotel & The Old Clubhouse food was amazing. Lovely walk to the Beach close by, and a trip to Archerfield, also within walking distance. I strongly recommend a stay at Summerside Cottage, and I most definitely will book again.

We had a really lovely stay in this comfortable and homely flat. We were actually there for a funeral in Edinburgh and to have this place to come back to and relax in was ideal. It was spotlessly clean with very comfy beds and bedding. Attention to detail was great -it has everything one could need. Gullane is a beautiful place and even though the weather was cold and and wintery we enjoyed our walks on the beach sheltered by the dunes. The Old Clubhouse was so welcoming with its roaring log fire and wonderful food. We'll definitely be back.

We loved the space - it felt safe for our 1.5-year-old to stumble about, and the box of toys was a great bonus. The view from the living room across the Firth was spectacular. While we didn’t sit outside due to the cold, we enjoyed listening to the sound of the water lapping with the door open. The water was incredibly calm and beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset and the light was stunning.
The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. It was about a 15-minute walk to Portobello, which has a great selection of bougie cafés and bakeries, along with a lovely stretch of beach.

This lovely and cozy apartment is ideally located on High Street within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, bakeries, and bars. The apartment is quite spacious and is the kind of place you can actually live in, not just stay for a couple of days. It is light and bright and thoughtfully laid out. The bed is very comfortable with nice linens and there is an extra bonus of a full bathroom with a tub and a shower in another "dressing" room. The living room is not furnished exactly as shown with the striped couches; instead there is a wrap-around couch, which is better, and an armchair, a great setup to snuggle in and watch Netflix on a cold and windy day (which there were many in December!) The kitchen is quite nice but there are a few missing items e.g. no wine glasses and only 2 bowls, but I still hosted a small dinner party for my friends. Overall, a great place and I recommend it highly!

Cannot fault this property. Immaculate, cosy, stylish. Well stocked with everything you would need. Comfy bed and great Wifi. We’ll definitely stay again.
