We had a lovely stay at Jo & Barry’s place. It was modern, comfortable and clean :) the kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the hot tub and games table, good to keep a group entertained.
The beds were comfortable and it was nice that every room had a bathroom.
There are lots of nearby walks with clear directions (boots or wellies are necessary for some parts)! Jo and Barry were really helpful and responded quickly if we needed anything.
We also had dinner a short drive away in the Eliot Arms, and the food was really good.
It was so calming staying right on the lake, we will definitely visit again and recommend to others. Thanks again.

An ideal place to stay for a peaceful break away! From the beautiful view, to the hot tub, to the log burner to keep us warm and more, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to spend our weekend away, I would highly recommend this accommodation!

As a group of five friends, we had a lovely stay. It was tainted by the feeling as though we couldn’t relax. The owner knocked on the car window on arrival of one of our party to abruptly tell us to move the cars (we were happy to move the cars as we had more than the allocated 2 spaces but there are better ways to approach someone who has just driven for hours), arrived during breakfast without warning to check on electrics (kettle had flipped circuit board out twice, having confirmed we had sorted the issue it would have been nice to ask if they could pop by to check all ok) and then whilst we were all in the hot tub, there was a drone hovering above us for ages they marched up to accuse us of it being ours, it was not. It would have been better to have appeared concerned for our privacy.
On the bright side, the property was clean, well presented and basics were present in the property. Lovely walks near by.
