Opened the door & greeted to a beautiful lit Xmas tree, lots of Christmassy things dotted around the cottage & a hamper with some useful goodies & a pint of milk in the fridge.
Very warm & comfortable especially as it was raining when we arrived!!
Kitchen was very well laid out with all the equipment for cooking a smaller Xmas lunch & 3 days of meals. I did take some cooking things down just in case. It’s a woman thing!
Bedrooms beautifully presented & beds very comfortable.
The cottage was very warm with a modern thermostat.
A couple of suggestions for the owners but really, it was well worth the visit. We managed with 1 bathroom, it would have been great for a 2nd loo but there isn’t anywhere to put it.
Would mean loosing a bedroom to a single/ bunks.
Kings Arms in staggering distance, parking no problem.
Rained every day so only drove around the area briefly, keen to get back to the cosy cottage, eat drink & be merry.
