My husband and I stayed for a month in Nicholas’ lovely flat in the center of Glasgow; and I can’t imagine a more perfect location to explore the city! Multiple restaurants, pubs and shopping within easy walking distance, as well as super-convenient to both the Glasgow subway and major train stations, allowing for exploration of the rest of Glasgow and beyond. The flat itself was extremely comfortable and clean, with a great shower and very nice pots and pans. The big challenge we had involved communication with the management company responsible for the flat: we did not receive the address prior to arriving and when we tried to call to find the location, the office was closed; we eventually found the flat by asking a clerk at a neighboring hotel. We also weren’t aware that cleaning of the flat was included, and so were surprised when a cleaning crew arrived unannounced. Bottom line: comfortable, amazing location but communication needs a little improvement.

Nicolas bat im Vorfeld darum, mich kurz zu melden, wenn wir in Glasgow ankommen. Die telefonische Kontaktnahme war reibungslos. Molly erwartete uns vor dem Haus und begrüßte uns freundlich. Sie erklärte alles und zeigte uns das Apartment. Hier war alles wie beschrieben und wir fühlten uns gleich wohl. Molly kam in der zweiten Woche und reinigte die Wohnung, die Handtücher wurden ausgetauscht und das Bett frisch bezogen. Sie nahm eine kleine Anmerkung auf und erledigte es sofort. Die Wohnung liegt in Merchant City und man kann wohl sagen, dass es zentraler nicht geht. Wir haben einen Großteil der Besichtigungen zu Fuß gemacht und auch die Busverbindungen sind sehr gut. Obwohl ich erst nicht in die Großstadt Glasgow wollte, war ich angenehm überrascht. Eine Stadt, die einen zweiten Besuch wert ist und wenn es passt, auch gerne wieder bei Nicolas. Vielen Dank, der Aufenthalt bei dir hat viel zu einem gelungenen Erlebnis beigetragen.
