The location of this condo is phenomenal. The pool, tennis courts, restaurant and beach access were amazing. The view is beautiful and the resort is peaceful. We were pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo especially for how much the rental cost is. The floors are dirty and walls/trim were pretty beat up. It took 2-3 cycles for the dryer to dry the clothes and having 8 people staying there, laundry was a constant event.
Overall, location is perfection and Hanalei Bay Resort is a must-stay. For the price we paid for our condo, a cleaner environment was expected.

We did a quick father and daughter get away for a couple nights and the place was perfect. We had room in the yard to set up a couple yard games and walk around looking at flowers. The cabin was cozy but spacious and the proximity to the National Park was perfect. We met one of Gary's employees on the property by chance and he was extremely polite and personable, I believe his name was Andrew. Sorry buddy, if I'm wrong. I look forward to bringing my whole family next time! And I enthusiastically recommend checking this place out if a cabin style getaway is what you are looking for.

We just got home last night from a 10 day stay at Gary’s place. Wow! What a treat. Breakfast every day on the lanai, just staring out into the view. The place was very spacious, and there was a box with all kinds of stuff for us to use - fins for snorkeling, sand toys, and binoculars on the table. The couch was very comfortable.
When we got there, we realized the recliner was broken. Probably could have made due, but was with my elderly mother who couldn’t use it properly. We informed Gary and the next day, a brand new recliner showed up! Amazing!
The resort is to die for - pickleball and tennis everywhere. The pool is lovely and you can walk to the beach - almost impossible in Princeville!
Highly recommend if you are thinking about staying there. Thanks Gary for an awesome stay, we’ll be back next year.
