Tarryn is always available whenever we needed help. We shared the building with several others, and it’s always interesting to meet people with different backgrounds. You just have to follow the Golden Rule.

First time visitor to Grass Valley and I had a great time! It’s a quaint small town with a lot of history. Empire Mine State Park and great hiking trails are just a few mins drive away. The cottages are off a main road but very quiet and there’s a convenience store a short walk away. The neighbors are also very nice and quiet. It’s a quick drive to the downtown area or Target and other shops. Check-in was smooth and Sandy and Tarryn are extremely helpful and communicative. I traveled with my dog and appreciated that they provided a vacuum (it was new!) for my stay. Had some hiccups with the heater and fridge but they were replaced with new ones so future guests won’t have any issues. I recommend this place for folks looking for a simple long-term stay.

Spend Christmas here with our parents and it was a memorable trip. The house was cozy and well maintained.
Pros:
Very private but still had neighbors nearby.
Very cozy and clean place
Well laid out living room and game room (great for larger group)
Kitchen had lots of amenities and was also decently loaded with microwave food and condiments.
Walk to the runway was very unique experience.
Cons:
Dining was for 4 seats and in winter couldn't sit outside in the deck, so the only alternative was to eat in batches.
Kitchen appliances might need some upgrade ( this is totally a subjective review, since its totally workable for basic cooking)
Overall a great place and we would definitely love to come back and make more memories.
