We stayed 3 nights at Atharva’s place in Anjuna and loved it. It’s on the road to the beach, but the compound is private and quiet with lots of trees. The 1 bedroom house is built in the local style, very spacious with a full kitchen. I loved the built-in seating in the porch that is traditional. Lots of birds in the trees outside. The beach, while scenic is rocky, and the access is between lots of stalls. Go to the left and you’ll hit plenty of bars - you can choose the ones to your liking. (Some have insanely loud music). Lots of restaurants at all levels just steps from the house. Would stay here again
