A great apartment! Very cute and was perfect for the three of us. As advertised there were a lot of stairs but you are rewarded with the view. Ours was a bit obstructed with the Tattoo setup but the proximity to the castle was perfect as we were there to attend the Tattoo. Would definitely come back outside of the Tattoo as I imagine the view of the castle would be incredible.

The location is simply magnificent - not least during the Edinburgh Fringe: inches from the Royal Mile, no more than 2-3 minutes from Pleasance, and a short walk from Waverley station. You're on the third floor, but if you don't mind the steps that takes you away from any noise (it was impressively peaceful for such a busy area) and provides a great view of Arthur's Seat.
