Wonderful location. House interior is really nice and home is located closer to the beach than we expected.
Important to know that you will need to supply everything you'll need, especially paper products, detergents, condiments etc.
Stock up on supplies before you get to the island as the closest Grocery outlet is approximately 1.5 hour round trip drive time.

LOVED this house, it truly was the perfect location. We were "far" enough away to feel alone, but close enough to get to everything we wanted to do and see. We essentially had our own private beach, but there were several others we visited on the island as well - ALL of them PRISTINE!
The house was open with plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have some alone time or hang out together in the super comfy public spaces. I can't say enough good things about this home. My only critique is that we found a bit of sand in the bed sheets. To be completely fair, this home is ON THE BEACH, I suppose it's to be expected.
Should we return to Dauphin Island, we will certainly stay in this home. If you are considering a stay on DI, and you have a large group this place is IDEAL!
