I’d messaged the hosts prior to checking in on 2 occasions firstly checking there was room to park my truck & secondly asking if there was a teapot and what coffee making facilities were at the property. I did not get any response to those but we did get the RULES laid out to us. One of which was to always keep the hob protector on!
When we arrived it was not on & we found it screwed up & stained in the cupboard!
On initial inspection the kitchen was not good. The cutlery drawers were a complete mess, the baking trays greasy, the fridge smelled, the oven not wiped out & had food debris in it, the spice cupboard a complete disaster with empty jars, half open packets & random things left behind.
The toaster had chunks of bread in it and the crumb trays were full!
There’s too much style over substance. Huge bedside units & only 1 light.
The host’s response was positive and we would return!
