Great apartment with heated flooring and bathroom which were nice during winter. There is a washer cum dryer which was useful for our family. Kitchen is well equipped with fridge, dishwasher and oven so we were able to do some light cooking. The unit is on the ground floor but the entry to the unit is through several doors. No big issue since being on the ground floor is better than having to walk up several stairs. The rooms are just nice for our family of 4 but the layout is a bit weird since the kids need to walk through the master bedroom to get to their room. Bathrooms are not too big but we make do. Apart form these, everything else is pretty good.

The location of the penthouse was ideal. Close to all historical sites. The train station was a 7 minute walk. The rooftop views were amazing. The apartment was equipped with everything you needed. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved this apartment. Absolutely beautiful in an incredible location with an unmatched view. The apartment is large and comfortable for Florence. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and large living and dining rooms. The furnishings are great, especially in the bedrooms and dining room.
I am only providing 4 starts due to a couple of issues, mostly with the property management company. Overall communication and the check-in process were great. A few areas fell short. First, the company failed to provide some basic necessities like hand soap and dishwashing soap, and there were only a few small garbage bags for a weeklong stay. They gave me a canned "not our responsibility" reply when I pointed this out. The apartment was also not that clean, especially the kitchen which had quite greasy floors. I actually mopped the floors one day, and I have no doubt we left the apartment cleaner than we found it.

Cannot beat the location right in Santa Maria short walking distance to countless bars and restaurants, and the private terrace with view of the dome is as advertised - incredible. inside felt a little dated, but that was expected given the location in Florence. It was clean and beds were surprisingly comfy. Overall felt like a great value. It is on the top floor and there's no elevator so carrying suitcases in and out was a bit of an ordeal but as long as nobody in your partner has a handicap or mobility issues, not a big deal.
