J&L are such awesome hosts. Very responsive. Absolute southern hospitality at its finest. The view is stunning. Even off season this is definitely a great choice. morning sunrises you won’t be disappointed. We loved sitting on the porch. 5 seasons pool and hot tub were nice and toasty. What can I say! What an amazing stay, just what we needed. Stayed over Christmas week, cooked a full Christmas Dinner, had everything we needed in the kitchen. Had a really restful stay, watched movies, read books and relaxed. Really quiet time at Christmas. Meet lots of locals, who were extremely friendly.
The whole complex was clean and well maintained. we definitely stay again!
Drive to wheel on beach front, was about 15 mins, most shops still open.

Perfect place for a 3-night beach getaway for my family of four, including two teenagers. The place really is right next to the beach: from the apartment you can see and hear the waves crashing against the shore. Paradise! We spent a lot of time on the beach, soaking in the sun and having fun in the sand, even though it was late December. The apartment is homey and very comfortable, well stocked with kitchen appliances and gadgets and plenty of place settings. Would definitely return for another stay!
