The house is very nice but needs some upgrading to accommodate 10 people. We found the kitchen needs a full audit and more everyday plate, bowls and cutlery need to be added. The fridge isn’t big enough for a big group unless you’re willing to go to the supermarket everyday. The communal space is lovely and a great place to hang out. Imagine the garden would be great in summer but we visited in the winter so this was limited. You absolutely need to use the fire in the winter and need to use the freestanding radiators in the bedrooms which can sometimes feel a bit cold in big spaces. Some table lamps would be beneficial in the living room. Bedding was nice but we all needed bigger towels and some had seen better days. Thank you for our stay.

The house was a very special old Tudor house and amazingly warm and cosy. The grounds seemed endless and we enjoyed the walks onto Vanguard Way and into Edenbridge. It was perfect for dogs, with stone floors (underfloor heating) that we didn't have to worry about).
The bedrooms were beautiful and the house furnished with some amazing old furniture and cupboards. The log fire in the kitchen/ living room was wonderful and my son lit it every day with the generous allocations of logs.
The system for re-cycling seemed inadequate with guests expected to take it home (230 miles?) or put it into landfill black bags with all the rubbish - not great in this day and age.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and would absolutely stay here again. The host was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful. Check in was flexible and easy. I worked remotely from the flat and had no issues with WiFi in the main living room area. Spacious flat, clean, and the host left plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathrooms which was appreciated. They also brought in a couple space heaters for those especially cold days, though the heating in the flat was sufficient most days. Convenient location.
