You have to hover your palm over the key code pad, to start typing the code to get in. It may take a while to load and it may take a few attempts to get in, but does work. Very cheap and good value for money if you just need somewhere to crash for a night. Location is near Southampton central. Mark responds to your messages should you need help. The shared shower needs a bit of maintenance, as the pole holding up the shower, is broken. You need to be careful with it. Also, the temperature takes ages to change. I set it to the highest heat, cos it was cold and when it did get hot, it was very hot and stayed like that for ages, even when I turned it down. But again, place is very cheap. You pay for what you get. The room itself is good. Not too small and has a sink, which not many places can boast. The itinerary says you don’t get provided shampoo, but I was provided with a small container of shampoo and another of shower gel, which was a nice bonus.
