The issue was the place did the bare minimum and responded poorly when we needed extra supplies.
No soap, no toiletries, and exactly 6 towels for 6 people. We asked for more towels and they said they gave the exact amount they needed and if we wanted more we needed to bring ours back and exchange them. But there’s a hot tub. How do they expect us to use our only bath towel for the hot tub? And only one towel per person — some people shower with two towels (one for body, one for hair) and they weren’t drying fast enough. We were not satisfied at all with their response.
This was a great location but the rental property did the bare minimum and nothing more.
Additionally I had spoken ahead of time with management about my ESA which Airbnb is not allowed to discriminate against. A few days before the property sent a threatening and illegal email that the HOA would fine me if I brought my legally allowed ESA. Not cool.
