The place is large and accommodating for a group our size. We had 6 adults and two children. I think it could comfortably handle a few more children, but I would not want to have any more than 6 adults in the space. The back yard flat top griddle is the best feature for outdoor cooking by the pool. Be aware that South Padre Island hosts a lot of party animals that will be staying in close proximity. Depending on your age and/or wishes, this may or may not be a problem for you. With the loud exhaust pipes, loud stereos, reckless driving of sports cars and golf carts, and loud 3 AM parties happening just over the fence from the place, it did make for a few instances of annoyance for our family. This is not the fault of the owner of the property, just a feature of staying at South Padre Island.
