The location is the De Waterkant. The area is between V&A Waterfront and City Center. It is walkable to V&A Waterfront. It does require passing through highway viaduct area before Marina and City Toyota. There are some homeless people. But no problem when I walked at around 10PM. There are other people out too.
The De Waterkant area looks like some nice new development area. The Signature building is a loft building from an old brick building. Look clean. There is a Spar Supermarket just far away.
The apartment itself looks quite nice. Plenty room. Better than hotel room. There is also a full kitchen that you can cook some nice breakfast.
My only complaint is that some kitchen utensils are damaged. And some kitchen and bath faucets have some leaks. We guest care less. But owner needs to get those fixed.
Overall, it is a great unit to stay near the waterfront. It is far better than staying at Hyatt or Westin.
The view alone makes the apartment worth staying there.
LaStay representative was very friendly, though the check in instructions could have been more clear from the start.
Would still recommend the place and LaStay in the future!
