The apartment is on the ground floor of a small block with several other rentals. There is a 7-11 konbini a minute's walk away. The apartment is small but usable for 2 people. The bed is not on legs, it's a mattress on the floor with a frame round it. The shower, although looking small, delivered tons of hot water: bathroom was good all round. Great to have the use of a washing machine too. Ikebukuro is a great area quiet, safe, friendly. The apartment is anywhere between 10 and 15 minute's walk from the station, depending on which entrance you need. All in all, LuLu us a great host and we enjoyed our stay in her rental.

The place was very nice and convient. Everything was close by. It is kind of an old house, so It can get cold. Luckily there is a AC with heating function, this helped us a lot. Keep in mind if you are tall you might need to dodge the lamps, otherwise you might bump your head. Bathroom is kind of small but thats because i’m 1.87cm. The bathroom is okay it’s not bad!
There is a spacious refrigerator available that you can use!
The beds are also spacious only downside is that the mattress is very thin. I think that’s because of cultural differences.
To sum it up.
It’s very well located and enough for a long stay. I would recommend the place!
