Clean and spacious... agency was slow in responding to requests... only email as phone number in welcome book was inactive. no tea towells ...next morning two were dropped off. Waterfall not working and pool not as clean as it could be... took 3 days due to long weekend for pool man to attend ....but waterfall never came on. Other than this everything was very nice.

The location in Port Douglas was great, as was the accommodation, pool and garden. Just down the road was a terrific restaurant, with delightful staff and food, so if you didn't want to cook, there was an easy alternative.
Our only real disaapointment was that Luxe Escape was very slow to give us the house access information. Even half an hour before reaching our destination from Cairns airport we did not have the access codes and information as to how to get into the house. And this was well after dark, so unnecessary stress caused.
However, Port Douglas was pristine and very well tendered, Wavelength was delightful to be on again, for our trip out to the Reef, and the accommodation was a great base to have, with an excellent leafy pool for relaxation.
