The proximity to the Sunday River ski resort was terrific. We were about 5 minutes down the road (towards Bethel) from the entrance/parking lots. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, with basic amenities. The large dining table and bench seating were perfect for 5 adults and 2 small children. The rooms were spacious, the bedding was warm (we were there during single-digit temperatures), and there was plenty of space in the common areas to relax. We especially enjoyed the couches with adjustable backs and footrests.
