Absolutely would stay here again. Location was ideal on a resort which I wasn’t clear on when booking.

We love the El Dorado for its location and amenities. It’s walkable to Whalers Village (for shopping, restaurants and boat tours) and all other Kaanapali resorts. If walking isn’t your thing, the free trolley runs daily picking up and dropping off out front of the resort every half hour. Amenities include the beach cabana which you can walk to or get a lift from the golf cart that the resort provides. The cabana has bathrooms, showers, beach, chairs, towels, ice and pretty much anything else you need for a comfortable and effortless day at the beach. The gym has the best equipment I have found at a Kaanapali resort including a squat rack. There are also 3 well maintained pools, games and grills for guest use. The unit itself was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 small kids). We appreciated the 2nd bathroom, large lanai, comfortable king bed and well equipped kitchen. Bonuses included 2 wagons, 4 beach chairs, 4 boogie boards, sand toys, snorkel gear, coolers and pool floaties.

We loved our stay at this place. The location in Kapalua and the beautiful grounds were unbeatable.
There were just a few hiccups initially but they were resolved within 24 hours. Firstly the AC was not working which was hard with 2 young kids and the warm climate. The company was going to send a tech but he wouldn't be in until the next day so luckily my husband was able to fix it in the meantime. Secondly, we had ordered and paid for a pack and play which was supposed to be in the unit on arrival but did not arrive until 9 pm (already after my child needed to go to sleep). I was told this would be refunded by the lovely manager Scott who came to deliver the pack and play. He was also kind enough to lend us his binoculars for whale watching :)
The unit itself is beautiful. Very new and clean and exactly as the photos. We would 100% rebook if staying back in Kapalua, Maui.

The stay all together was great; however, the day we arrived, the temp in the condo was 78° and we couldn’t get anyone to come fix it, so we barely slept and it was so hot to the point of being sick. The next day someone came and fixed it and it cooled down pretty quickly, thankfully. Other than that, the pools were great, and it was a nice location with a nice view.
