Very fun, exactly as pictured. Beautiful trail right behind the cabin. The large windows and wood burning stove were my favorite part of the our stay here. Super cozy

We had a great say in Girdwood, skiing at Alyeska. The host was very responsive and friendly. This cute cabin was easy to get to both with a car or the free shuttle to/from the mountain and small town since it’s off the main road. They had a pack and play for our 2 year old which was much appreciated. We didn’t realize how small the common living space was until after arriving. The bedrooms were plenty big but just not a ton of room to hang out or eat together if you’re more than 2 people. The upstairs bedroom got hot at night but we turned down the main heater the second night and it was much better. It felt pricy for what you get but the proximity to the mountain was the main reason we picked this place, and it was great.

Perfect couples retreat for a few nights’ getaway. Private, comfortable, cozy cabin complete with wood-burning fireplace and claw foot tub. Doesn’t get much better! (Bonus if you’re looking to check out of society for a bit: General store in Girdwood sells firewood bundles to keep the fire going, as well as wine, etc., and Chair 5 pizza delivers locally.)
