We enjoyed our stay at Tomaree Cottage. It had everything we needed, is a short walk to Shoal Bay beach and shops, so we could leave our car at home. The walk home is up a short but steep hill though. Comfortable beds and effective central a/c, and smart TV. The back yard is fully enclosed so our small dog was secure. We had to ensure that the gate latch was carefully secured as it could swing open on the incline of the driveway. We had difficulty with the top lock of the front door but discovered that the main key opens the lower front door handle and the back sliding door, which is the easier to use as our car could park very close to it. The host property managers were quick to respond to our communications and a few questions we had. We recommend this cottage to other guests and will be plan to stay again.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Just like the photos. Had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home.
Easy walk down a little hill to the restaurants, cafes and waters edge. Loved that we could have our fur baby join us and the thoughtful touches that made us all feel welcome. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Apartment had a good layout and all rooms inc. kitchen & bathroom were very clean. Location, directly opposite Little Beach was very central. It was just a 25 minute walk to Nelson Bay shops/Marina. Two minute walk to Little Beach Boathouse Restaurant and just 5 mins up the hill to the lighthouse cafe. We would have preferred beds to be made but at the end of the day, taking our own linen, towels, tea towels was absolutely fine too.
