We really enjoyed our stay at the Chachalaca Retreat. The house was clean and peaceful and the island was fun to explore. We enjoyed riding in the Kawasaki Mule and riding on the dirt roads lined with old oak trees with Spanish Moss. We enjoyed the beauty of Cabretta Beach and fishing off the bridge. We also had Sheron, who lives on the island, cook for us a few nights. She did a great job! It's a wonderful place to unplug and recharge.

Words can’t even begin to describe how gorgeous this house is! The hosts were incredible and we all had gift bags in our rooms and fresh eggs from the property. The hosts showed me around and showed me where everything was and how to use the fireplace, sound system, ext. There are keys for each “suite” for the guests. The furnishings were gorgeous and everything was pristine. We will absolutely be back! Thanks again for allowing us to stay at this beautiful property!

Wow. I had my company retreat here, and this property is amazing. I can honestly say I have never been in an AirBnB more equipped and stocked with ALL the essentials and tons of bonuses. This property feels more like a high end mountain resort than a home.
During our stay, we got hit with 5-7 inches of snow. The roads were horrible. The property manager was going to allow us to stay as late as we needed, in oder to give the snow and ice a chance to melt. They continued to make sure our entire team was safe and comfortable through out our entire stay.
They also gifted everyone products from their farm and gave us fresh eggs from their coup. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY returning to this property. Such an incredible AirBnB experience. Thank you again Heidi for everything!
