Having a view of the reef and ocean from every room in this home gave it such a great feeling.
You will definitely want to rent a car if you stay in this area as there are no restaurants or activities in a walkable distance.
Just a short distance down the road is Herbie’s Bar & Grill, located at the Pineapple Inn Resort. We used the kayaks to go down to the Pristine resort for lunch a few times which is a fun way to get there.
West End, and West Bay are the two beach areas with food and have adventures to book.
Beware, traffic is crazy and bumper-to-bumper much of the time, so if you book an adventure in that area, give yourself plenty of time to get there.
You will certainly enjoy every minute in this home.
The one and only negative thing I have about this place is the very small refrigerator.
Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Things to know of, coffee was provided but not the right grind and plugged the coffee maker until we figured that out. Only enough coffee for a few days so be sure to buy fine grind. Not enough sugar provided or cooking oil so be sure to pick that up as well as toilet paper. Grocery shop in Coxen Hole as the local market had limited supplies and expensive.
All things considered this was a great spot
What to know:
Is a 4x4 required?
How comfortable you are with dirt roads/elevation? Some of these roads are fairly steep and may be slippery in the rain/mud. Two wheel drive could be ok but would recommend a 4x4 to those without off roading experience.
Is this house private and secluded?
The neighbors are visible and unfortunately can be quite noisy. We had to work with One Stop and Carlos to ask the neighbors to turn off a loud chirping noise (every 5 seconds) and the other house will run a loud generator. There is some foot traffic at the beach area with neighbors and other rental folks by the docks during the day.
Overall I would recommend but be mindful of noisy neighbors/4x4 needed.
