The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They provided helpful tips on local attractions and restaurants . Their attention to detail was evident, from the lovely welcome cake and wine to the immaculate cleanliness of the cottage.
The location is perfect for exploring Buxton and the surrounding Peak District. It’s just a short walk from the town center, where you can find lovely shops, cafes, and the iconic Buxton Opera House.
The cottage itself is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The living area was cozy, with plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils
It’s a perfect getaway for anyone looking to explore Buxton and the beautiful Peak District. I would highly recommend it to friends and family and am already looking forward to my next visit!
Great cottage in a great location - actually better than we even expected, clearly a well loved family holiday home.
Views were beautiful, beds very comfortable, plenty of socialising space and all nice and clean.
Negatives:
The management company don’t respond to messages (not once!) and we got an automated response for an extra fee for bringing our dog after initial payment (we rejected the request due to no response).
The fridge / freezer is tiny and not sufficient for a group booking.
One toilet roll was at the property and no local shops to get anymore!
The birdsong in the morning was beautiful.
