I am disappointed that I didn't do more of a research on US/Mexico border policy on rental cars and getting Mexican Insurance. I did ask if there was anything I needed to know about crossing over the border but it apparently wasn't clearly stated by the host but it's understandable that they are running a business and it could hurt the bottom line $$ when booking to state some things.
