The house was very private off a main road but didn't feel like we heard a lot of traffic noise. About an 8-10 minute drive to downtown Friday Harbor. It's on a big lot with lots of areas for our kids to explore. They had a good selection of games and puzzles.

We had such a fabulous time on our trip that we even extended our stay! First of all San Juan Property Management went above and beyond with their service & I cannot recommend them enough. The cabin is comfortable and relaxing with quite literally the best views. We saw many deer and a couple red fox quite a few times. One of my favorite getaways we’ve taken and we will most definitely be back.

The cottage is small but complete and sits right on the water. We were there in February so it was cold and rainy. The road down to the unit is a bit steep but certainly passable. There is a Keurig coffee maker in the unit but if you are a coffee snob you may want to bring a french press and your own coffee. The cottage uses well water so we brought bottled water for drinking.
