We loved our stay at the Cosmic Cowboy, truly a 5 star place. The view of Big Mountain from the jacuzzi was amazing in the daytime. The unit is a 2 minute walk to Starbucks, and a 4 minute walk to the snow bus that takes you to downtown and to the ski resort. The snow bus picks you up in front of the McDonalds, which they call the mall. It's the first stop of the day, which is great, because the driver waits for a while, compared to other stops where if you're not standing by the pickup sign, they're probably not going to stop. We would just walk to Starbucks for breakfast, and once the bus pulled in, we'd walk right over to the bus, and we were a quick 25 minutes to the slopes. So easy. We will definitely be back and will be renting this unit!

Overall, we enjoyed our 6-week stay here. The apartment is spacious enough for a couple, and we like the high ceilings. Location is great, right on Main Street, and walkable to many restaurants and bars, and to The Ridge gym. Note that the apartment is one level up from street, so one has to be able to navigate stairs. The downsides are that the place can be cleaner, but the host did address it quickly. Apparently, they are switching to a new cleaning service. The noise from the street didn’t bother us too much, but maybe a problem for very light sleepers. We like that the bed was nice and firm, and we also like the sofa. Kitchen could do with a dishwasher but overall serviceable, with decent sized stove and oven, and large fridge. The built-in heating and the 2 oil heaters kept us warm.
