The Fish House at Norton Creek was a great choice for our family getaway to the mountains! The cabin had plenty of room for everyone - our group included nine adults and two children, and the room/bed layouts were just what we needed to accommodate each family. We spent a lot of time at the cabin due to the weather, but we had room to spread out and everyone enjoyed exploring the property and walking around in the snow (a novelty for the Florida folks!). The location is fabulous - situated right between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, tucked away in a private community but with easy access to either city as well as Great Smoky Mountain National Park (sadly closed for our visit due to that snow). We bought groceries and cooked all our meals at the cabin, but you could easily find places to eat out if that's your preference. We had a couple of minor issues which were quickly addressed by the friendly staff, located at the welcome center right next door. We had a great experience all around!

The power was out when we first arrived, which was no fault to Aryes. There was a storm in the area. They warned us before we got there that it was out and that they were actively calling the power company. The power got turned on about an hour after arriving. The spot was beautiful, and I loved the lights they had all around the property. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen and both bathrooms were well stocked. We could not get one of the showers to work because the handle is broken. The fire pit does not do well at keeping your feet/legs warm because of the design, but we still enjoyed sitting around it. However, the heaters did an awesome job keeping us warm while inside. Our dogs loved the area as well. Overall, it was exactly what we needed to wind down after a busy holiday season. Highly recommend staying here if you have not. You won't regret it..
