This is a perfect escape from your busy everyday. The house and the location really allow you to take in the little moments and focus on the present. I know I speak for both my girlfriend and I when I say we won’t easily forget this beautiful home and village.
Our main problem was getting into the house, unfortunately as we booked through Airbnb, Sykes holiday cottages did not have our email address to forward the information on access to the property. We were left standing outside phoning different number to try and access the code to get in. Thankfully a very helpful man answered and sorted us out!
House was as pictured and perfect for what we needed, although a little dated in places. Bathrooms/shower rooms could do with de moulding and mattresses could do to be replaced.
Views are to die for 😍 very peaceful and private.
Although we had a couple issues we would definitely return in the future!
This is by no means a criticism but be aware that the 2 bedrooms are not on the same floor. It just has to be taken into account if you are visiting with children.
