Beautiful setting and location. Tahoe City and Kings Beach are both nearby. The only unexpected experience we was a roaming bear on the beach at night looking for food. It made it very comfortable to sit on the beach and relax at night to watch the stars. The bear we encountered was well over 500lbs. The bear did run away however it appeared very quietly.
