The apartment is nice. Appreciated the abundance of towels- a rarity in some Airbnbs. Host should ensure accurate check in codes are provided to avoid guests waiting in the cold. Additional £50 for parking daily is exorbitant and I refused to pay that. The apartment is spacious, it’s a quiet building and additional inflatable mattresses are good. We experienced an issue with the washing machine- tripping the electricity. I reported this on NYE and understood that New Year’s Day would be not be an option to have maintenance out. The maintenance eventually came out and solved the problem but I had to continuously follow up for multiple days with laundry for 4 people mounting. The thing that annoyed me most was when I wanted to extend the rental, the host dragged the process out for days and then requested I extend outside of Airbnb for a price higher than what Airbnb extension quoted. I opted to book elsewhere.
