The pod was perfect for what we wanted for this trip. We were impressed with the amenities in the pod; microwave, kettle, fridge, cutlery etc. It felt really cosy once we’d had our bedding on and made it our own little space. It was also perfect for our two little dogs and they felt at home in the pod.
The showers and toilet blocks exceeded our expectations. They were really clean and had everything you needed.
The location was central to drive/get the bus to places like pooley bridge and Keswick. It was handy being in Penrith too due to all the big supermarkets and shops there.
The host Andrew was lovely. He greeted us after we had checked in and made sure we were okay. He gave us loads of good local recommendations. He was also easy to reach during the trip and when we needed help due to our clumsiness (like when we accidentally locked ourselves out the pod 😂).
Would highly recommend staying here! And would definitely return again.
