We loved staying within Yosemite NP and starting our days closer to "the main events". The house was perfect for us, great fireplace and kitchen and the added bonus of being dog-friendly was terrific.

We loved this cozy cabin! It was perfect for our kids, MIL, and us. The bunk beds were amazing-perfect for our older kids on top (no rails as pictured) and the littles on the bottom. Plenty of blankets, towels, and even games and puzzles. We loved grilling our dinners and having a nice fire in the fireplace at night! The local little store was great for odds and ends and we especially loved that it was only a 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley, where we spent the bulk of our time. The description was completely accurate and as a family that loves a cabin vibe, this was perfect! Check in and out was super easy and we felt like the cabin had everything we needed (make sure to bring cooking spray or butter if you need it). The listing mentioned to even bring salt and pepper, but they have nice pots and pans and we forgot about coating a pan :)...
