Our family of four had a great time at Aaron’s place as a Spring Break getaway, both for enjoying Mission and Pacific Beach, and a jumping off point for exploring surrounding areas. The house was as specified but be aware of the layout and tight spiral staircase to floor 3 loft. It’s sufficiently private although the folks next door can be loud and there’s an apartment building across that gets noisy late due to folks returning from the nearby bar scene. The alley neighbor had his fancy car washed with a loud pressure washer at 7am on Sat. Note windows are all single pane and essentially transparent to noise. It only bothered us one night - keeping in mind this was spring break - but anyone talking outside, barking dogs, traffic, etc are audible as if they are right inside with you. Aaron was a responsive host as there was a leak over the master bed from heavy rain, took care of it quickly and offered a move which we declined. Great host and a cozy spot just south of the PB action.

We had a bit of a hiccup at the start of our stay, but Aaron was quick to respond and very helpful in resolving the issue. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to the grocery store, beach, bay, and many other attractions in Mission and Pacific Beach. The house had lovely decor that fit the beach vibe, though it could use a little attention for some maintenance issues. The beds, linens, and pillows were all very comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest. There was a bit of noise day and night, from traffic, the fire station, and people nearby, but it didn’t take away too much from the experience. The house and garage were well stocked with beach chairs, toys, and other useful items. Overall, we had a great stay and would consider returning.
